Open Auditions for INDICINELIVE

Came across this advert calling for auditions from KLPAC.

Still thinking want to have it a try or not.

There is not a problem for me If it is a Chinese language spoken audition. But, in English, I just do not have the confidence to do so.

Somemore, they need caricature and cappella! I can't even sing well in karaoke session!

Should I just go and not care for anything?

Like what Nike advert says : "Just Do It" ??!!

WHAT DO I PREPARE FOR THE ENSEMBLE CAST AUDITIONS?
a contemporary monologue in English of 2 minutes;
a portrayal of a specific Malaysian caricature* of 1 minute;
a portrayal of a specific non-Malaysian caricature* of 1 minute;
a musical number, a cappella, of 1 minute;
an optional presentation of your other abilities (acrobatics, dance, mime, magic tricks, accents, juggling, clowning, musical instruments, etc.) of 1 minute

*a comic exaggeration of a stereotype or a known character/personality; i.e. a Malaysian cab driver, an 'aunty', the boss of a kopitiam, a local politician, Siti Nurhaliza, Amitabh Bachchan, Oprah Winfrey, Eminem, Simon Cowell, Homer Simpson, Bruce Lee, Barack Obama, etc.

Photoshop CS3 Tutorial : Hair Cropping

When it comes to hair cropping using Photoshop, it will not be as easy as any other object cropping by using tools like, marquee, magic wand, masking, eraser...

Hair is just so hard to crop.

You can see in a lot of newspapers & magazines, the celebrities hair are being cut up into a fake hair type of looking which I can say is ugly and not natural.

Here is the tutorial I found online which I think it might me useful for all of us when it comes to hair cropping works:

Telemarketing

Company is having activities in these 2 weekends.

Therefore, we who are in the Marketing Team need to be Telemarketers to call up and invite all the targeted audiences to come and join the event.

It has been a brand new experience for me.

It was not an easy job though. People who are picking up the phones, not all are friendly people.

We were being hung up, questioned and scolded. Hopefully next week the people are nicer.

But, anyway it was a great experience.

Salute to all the telemarketers out there and I promise that I will act good when next time I receive phone calls from telemarketers.

Do not want to get bad karma by the time when I have to do telemarketing again.

My Best Fren's Wedding

The wedding is finally over.

It still feels like yesterday when Serene first told me that she is getting married.

It was about one year ago.

And now, everything is over.

Going through all those ceremony, dinners, makeup, hairdo, preparation...

It was pretty exhausting actually.

Anyway, everyone is very happy then.

It was a day of joy. Everything went on smoothly and I am so happy for being able to have 2 of my best frens around me.

I am happy for my best fren on her marriage and wish her forever loving with her hubby.

It is not easy to find someone that you are willing to spend the rest of your life with and if you did...you are the lucky ones.

四天三夜的佛学儿童生活营就这样结束了.

非常欢喜的度过了这几天.

有幸与几个在十年前因儿营而相知相识的朋友,在这里话说当年,重温旧时光。

这种温馨亲切，既陌生又熟悉的感觉，让我感到异常安心和愉快。

很享受那段时光。。。

千金难买的一刻

定慧居的《欢喜苑》佛学儿童生活营，已经是第七届了。

而我也不知不觉地当了七届的督导，我依然玩得不亦乐乎。

虽然每一届的节目表都大同小异，但每一届都会有不同的工委，督导，还有小菩萨到这里来。

每一次都会有不同的体验，不同的喜悦。

这种喜悦，是无法用言语或字词来形容的。只有在那里的人才可以体会到这种发自内心的欢喜和喜悦。

After one week on Tuesday, I fell down from the stairs and had stitches.

One week after the incident on Tuesday, I got flu and cough that until now I still haven't recovered yet.

And today, one week after the cough, my eye is infected by virus - Sore Eye.

Oh dear, this is the 3rd time I have visited the clinic starting from early Nov and guess what?

I am on MC again.

My newly joined company sure will fire me if I continue like this.

I must have done something really bad that Buddha want to punish me. I cannot think of any reasons to explain what is going on.
