Birthday Dinner

This is my best and the happiest birthday that I have ever had.

Thanks to my dearest sis & housemates (Enric, Hun Chang, Kitty, Ming Lip) & Kah Loong by having such a great dinner @ my favourite restaurant. The meal was nice & the ice-cream cake was delicious.

It is not about the food, it is all about having all of you with me doing something together happily.
Even if it was just a simple birthday celebration, it did make my day meaningful.

**Thanks Hun Chang for the gorgeous photos~~! Muakss!

Relation Between Job & Food

How is it related in between Job & Food?

I found this quite interesting after I left my 4 years job and joined a new company.

There were majority of Penang people in my previous company. They were very excited with Penang food. When one of us explored some good Penang food, we would go there and try during lunch hour. Other than that, they also love fish and duck dishes and hot & spicy food.

They were willing to drive from Sunway to PJ, Kota Kemuning , Puchong and even Damansara.
Me and my ex-manager who love chicken drumstick were also willing to starve until 2.30pm just to wait for the super delicious and big chicken drumstick's stall to open.

Now, with my new colleagues, super pork-lovers.
They love pork noodles, pork pepper soup, pork bakuteh, pork dishes and so on.
It is fun to have "kaki" to have great food together.

So now, my food during lunch time has changed.
No more Penang food, fish dishes, duck dishes and hot & spicy food.
Now is pork, pork and Bubble Tea~~!

Bubble Tea Fever

Recently, there is a virus spreading around our office. The infected ones will be craving for something everyday and they will be helping each other to fulfill their craving.

The virus mentioned above will be the Bubble Tea Fever.
There is a bubble tea supplier near our office and they are also selling the bubble tea.
Everyday after taking lunch, there will be at least one of us who is craving for bubble tea.

My colleague who is sitting next to my cubicle will ask me when will I be going to the bubble tea shop almost everyday before lunch time. My other colleague who is even better by offering to buy for others in the office since he will be going to buy one for himself.

To be hones, the bubble tea from the shop is really nice. We all love the Peppermint + Oreo flavor. There will be a lot of people queuing up during lunch time. The shop is at Dataran Mentari, Sunway. Same row with Domino's Pizza and Jaring Restaurant.

Grasshopper Malaysia Concert 2010

The concert was on 23 Jan, a free ticket from my old Ipoh fren - Yan Seng.
It was a great nite to hang out with my old buddies, Yan Seng, Efun & Evonne.

It was drizzling when the concert started. Everyone was rushing to the crews to take their rain coats. Luckily, the drizzle stopped and it was on and off throughout the concert. It seems like there was somebody way up in the sky watching & blessing the concert by holding the rain from pouring down.

The best thing I would to say about the concert, will be the costumes. Not only the costume designs for the Grasshopper were amazing, even the dancers' costume were as stunning.
Other than that, the band was good, the lighting was good as well.
Even the venue, at Sunway Lagoon, I personally think that it is a great location to have concerts.

The Grasshopper sang a lot of their old famous songs which all of us are familiar with.
They even sang their sifu's (Anita Mui) songs and also Leslie Cheung's famous songs.
The audience was so "high" and all were standing up dancing while the Grasshopper were singing. We even stand on the chair to sing and dance with them.

It was a great concert and I am really glad that I have decided to attend the event.
Great songs & great performance. I am thinking to buy their Malaysia Concert 2010's CD or DVD when it is in the market. It was such an amazing concert that you will want to watch again & again.
